The Brezza estate, with vineyards in Barolo dating back to 1885, is empatically back in the Barolo game under forth generation winemaker Enzo Brezza. His four single-vineyard 2004 Barolos (I'm sorry I can't bring myself to say "Baroli") are sublime beyond words; however, I think the real super secret gems at Brezza are the single vineyard Dolcetto and Barbera from tiny parcels in the Barolo vineyard of Cannubi, a site almost entirely devoted to Nebbiolo (which, by the way, sells for five or six times as DOCG Barolo).
